Athlon Sports Racing ranks the Top 30 Nextel Cup drivers and has an in-depth feature on the veterans of the sport who brought NASCAR to where it stands today over the past 20 years. There are Q&A's with Tony Stewart and Darrell Waltrip, two of the most outspoken drivers on the circuit, plus a driver's forum, where readers will find candid answers to the guys behind the wheel. Athlon also asks its Thirteen Tough Questions, and gives its traditionally politically incorrect answers.

"Readers are going to hear everything they want to straight from the drivers' mouths," Miller said. "We wanted to bring people right into the action."

The 192-page edition has brilliant full-cover photography, which has been a staple of Athlon Sports since its inception. The magazine also contains schedules, track profiles, and expanded Busch Series and Craftsman Truck Series previews.

Athlon is the industry leader in publishing sports annuals, making a name for itself in college football over the past 38 years. Starting with college football in 1967, Athlon started adding titles in 1982 by publishing a preseason Pro Football annual. In 1988, Athlon added Baseball to the mix, and added College and Pro Basketball in 1994. Athlon's Golf annual was first published in 1999 with the sixth edition set to hit newsstands in February.
