The NFL announced that commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended Stallworth without pay for the 2009 season for violations of league policy regarding substance abuse and personal conduct. This action firms up an indefinite suspension in June that was imposed following his guilty plea to a DUI/manslaughter charge. Stallworth struck and killed a pedestrian while driving under the influence of alcohol in March. Stallworth will be reinstated to the NFL after the Super Bowl in February....
