Week 13: Louisiana-Monroe at FIU
After two years as the laughing stock of college football’s highest level, Florida International finally has respectability and an undisputed star player in T.Y. Hilton. And they're playing meaningful football in November against Louisiana-Monroe.
Week 12: Louisiana-Monroe at Ole Miss
Ole Miss looks to become bowl-eligible for the first time since 2003 with its sixth win of the season. This is the Rebels’ best opportunity to hit that six-win plateau, as a road game with LSU and an unpredictable matchup with rival Mississippi State rounds out their remaining schedule.
Week 11: Louisiana-Monroe at MTSU
Neither team has a conference championship or bowl berth in its immediate future, but both are eager for some late season momentum.
Week 10: Troy at Louisiana-Monroe
One more win and Troy can sit in first place atop the Sun Belt into late November. So the Trojans must get past Louisiana-Monroe, their final road conference game, to keep ahead of the pack and play for the title in the final two games of the season.
Under The Radar: Week 9
The Big 12, Big Ten and SEC all have marquee match-ups this weekend. But the battle for Pac-10 supremacy will also take place in Tuscan, Arizona. Mike Stoops and Co. are set to take on the USC Trojans late Saturday night.
Week 9: Florida Atlantic at Louisiana-Monroe
Louisiana-Monroe should feel right at home trying to revive its season with a late surge. Florida Atlantic, the preseason Sun Belt favorite, won’t cure its disappointment with a brief winning streak. Both these teams are out of the league race, but salvaging the season is still an attainable goal.
Under The Radar: Week 8
The Big 12 continues to be the conference to watch on Saturday's with marquee match-ups in Austin, Texas and Norman, Okla. However, there are a few other games to watch this weekend that aren't necessarily getting the national hype.
Week 8: North Texas at Louisiana-Monroe
North Texas and Louisiana-Monroe are both 0-2 in league play. UNT was expected to again struggle this season while rebuilding continues under second-year coach Todd Dodge. But ULM is a surprise cellar-dweller in the conference standings after back-to-back losses to Arkansas State and Louisiana-Lafayette.
Week 7: Louisiana-Monroe at Arkansas State
Arkansas State spent a bye week contemplating its spot atop the Sun Belt standings, as many think the Red Wolves have assumed the role of favorite early in the conference schedule. Louisiana-Monroe dropped its conference opener, but it can turn the early league race upside down with a win at ASU.
Under The Radar: Week 6
The upsets continue as Pitt took down South Florida Thursday night. Are there any other teams that need to be on upset alert? Penn State travels to Purdue, Texas heads to Boulder and the 5-0 UConn Huskies are on Tobacco Road this weekend.
Week 6: UL-Lafayette at UL-Monroe
This in-state rivalry is enhanced because it’s a Sun Belt opener in what looks to be a competitive conference race. Louisiana-Monroe has won five of the last six games in the series, but Louisiana-Lafayette looks a little healthier and put together entering this showdown.

Oregon State has thrown the first wrench into the BCS landscape with their 27-21 victory over USC last night. The Horned Frogs of TCU will try their best to do the same Saturday against the Sooners.
