Sports ManagementMost memorable moment as a member of your squad?
I think that one of the most memorable moments on the dance team was winning a National Championship in pom and jazz.Who is your school's main Rival?
Wisconsin or IowaWhat do you like the best about the rivalry?
These schools are so fun to have a rivalry against because it is great to see how involved and united the student body gets. Each year we play both schools for a trophy, Paul Bunyan's Axe (WI) and the Floyd of Rosedale (Iowa) which we won back in 2010. The border battle games are the most exciting games to cheer at because there is such a competitive atmosphere on the field. -

Secondary Education (English/Language Arts)Who is your school's main Rival?
Texas A&M UniversityWhat do you like the best about the rivalry?
Our rivalry with Texas A&M began in 1899 and the rivalry runs thru the heart of central Texas since our universities are located only 90 miles away from each other. Any time our two schools meet for an athletic event, it is known as the Battle of the Brazos.
When most think of rivalries, they associate this thought with football, yet in Bear Country the rivalry against our neighbors, the fighting Texas Aggies, is found on the basketball court. The best aspect of this rivalry is the pride that is found within the hearts of each of the teams and those that follow them in the stands. The rivalry against the Texas A&M Aggies and the Baylor Bears is one that cannot be beat. Being a school within the Big 12 Conference, rivalry is a way of life. Rivalry is not only found amongst the teams but likewise amongst the fans, the coaches, and even the cheerleaders. For these two universities, the outcome of every game, every practice, every point, every rebound, every free throw, matters and that is the definition of rivalry. -

Secondary Education History, with a minor in SociologyMost memorable moment as a member of your squad?
The most memorable moment as a member of the Coed Cheerleading team was the first time I experienced the most exciting 25 seconds of college football. In Death Valley, I was standing on the paw at the 50-yard line with 80,000 screaming fans surrounding me. That alone was enough to make the hair on my arms stand up, not to mention what was to come next. The video began to play on the big screen and the busses with the team pulled to the top of the hill. I could barely hear as Tommy Bowden came to “The Rock” and put his hand on it. The cannon fired at the start of Tiger Rag and the football team entered the stadium running down "the hill" towards me on the field. The adrenalin was running through my body as I tumbled my way throwing fulls to the opposite end zone. As a Clemson fan, there is no better place to be in Memorial Stadium than on the paw at the 50-yard line with the players running towards you and the crowd chanting C-L-E-M-S-O-N! Being a cheerleader allowed me to play a role in this time-honored tradition. I've lived it, breathed it, and it will always be boiling in my blood! It's thrilling even now just writing about it -- C-L-E-M-S-O-N, T-I-G-E-R-S, FIGHT TIGERS, FIGHT TIGERS, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!!! -
