A fourth-year junior, Andrew Luck finished second in the voting for the Heisman Trophy to Cam Newton last season. A third-year starter, Luck had won 20 of his first 25 career starts entering this season. Last season, he set the school and Pac-10 single-season records by completing 71 percent of his passes. He also set the Stanford single-season record for touchdown passes with 32 as he led the Cardinal to a school-record 12 wins, capped off by a victory in the Orange Bowl over Virginia Tech. He is majoring in architectural design.
