John Brantley: 2011 Golden Arm Candidate - Florida

John Brantley is in his second season as the starting quarterback for his home-state Gators. In 2010, he threw for 2,061 yards and nine touchdowns while completing 61 percent of his pass attempts. He helped lead the Gators to eight wins that season, including one in the Outback Bowl on New Year's Day against Penn State. As a sophomore in 2009, Brantley served as the backup to Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and completed 75 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and no interceptions in seven games.
