Ryan Tannehill: 2011 Golden Arm Candidate - Texas A&M
A wide receiver for the first 30 games of his Texas A&M career, Ryan Tannehill made the switch to quarterback in mid-season last year and started the final six games. He went 5-1 in those six starts, completing 65 percent of his passes for 1,638 yards and 13 touchdowns. Despite his limited time at quarterback, he earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors from the coaches. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology in May and last year was named to the ESPN Academic All-District team and the Academic All-Big 12 teams.
