EJ Manuel: 2011 Golden Arm Candidate - Florida State
A part-time starter the past two years behind Christian Ponder, EJ Manuel assumed the reigns full-time this season. The fourth-year junior is a legitimate dual-threat quarterback and won four of the six games he started the past two seasons, including the Gator Bowl in 2009. In that game, Manuel completed 70 percent of his passes with no interceptions and added a rushing touchdown to lead the Seminoles to victory over the then-ranked No. 16 West Virginia Mountaineers. He also played a key role in last season's Chik-fil-A Bowl win over South Carolina after taking over for an injured Ponder in the second quarter.
