Recently decommitted from Nebraska and switched to Notre Dame

The Analysis

Trevor Robinson is a rock solid prospect. He is built like a tank and demolishes opponents in like fashion. He is incredibly dominant at the point of attack. At times he can be sloppy and out of control but makes up for it with effort and drive. He will finish the play. Mentality is so important for offensive lineman, and Robinson loves being in the trenches.

The young prospect plays offensive tackle for his high school team, and he may have enough size to play at tackle in South Bend but most likely will be bumped down to interior lineman. He does have nice quick feet and shows the ability to pull.

This big offensive lineman had been committed to Bill Callahan and the Nebraska Cornhuskers until coaching uncertainty drove him into the waiting arms of Charlie Weis and Notre Dame. 

Robinson was recently elected first team USA Today High School All-American.
