The Analysis
Attitude might be the most important characteristic to evaluate for offensive lineman. Good has plenty of it. His tenacity and ferociousness give him great drive and run block skills. Just getting a block on a defender is not good enough, he wants to bury people in the ground. It is this killer instinct that makes a big, physical lineman into an All-American blocker.
Good has the physical tools as well. His big, powerful frame may be big enough to add twenty pounds and play tackle. He will never be as big as guys like Mike Adams or J.B. Shugarts, however. This, and his wonderful drive-blocking skills, may lead to a move to offensive guard. He is not tremendous in open space but shows adequate ability to pull and find targets to block.
