Robinson has been committed to Miami since July 2007

The Analysis

At his size, Robinson has the potential to play both rush end and linebacker. His athletic ability and agility in open space should lead him to the linebacker position, though. This ability, coupled with naturally strong instincts against the run, makes Robinson a dangerous option at linebacker. He has solid speed and quickness, showing a nice burst toward the football. His explosion will allow him to be a factor in blitz packages.

Robinson does have work to do, however. He will need to add weight to his lean, rangy frame and could end up playing around 230-240 pounds. He will need to work on moving though debris better as traffic can slow him down at times — particularly on lateral pursuit angles. His coverage skills are also going to be a major question mark. He is very strong when assigned to attack, but his pass drops, zone reads and hip turn all have room for marked improvement.

Robinson has a lot of potential but will also need a lot of coaching.
