The Analysis

Rudolph has an ideal frame and build for the tight end position. He is very tall with long, rangy arms and legs. He uses this imposing frame to create mismatches in all phases of the game. He will be a dynamic red zone threat with his height and leaping ability. Rudolph has big, soft hands. He can work the underneath zones and shorter routes by muscling his way into good position. 

Although he has a nice quickness off the line of scrimmage, Rudolph will never be a burner or ‘yards-after-catch’ kind of player. He has adequate athleticism to stretch defenses vertically but will never be a home run threat.

Rudolph will also need work on his power, drive and consistency when it comes to inline blocking. He does have the size and frame to develop these skills so it is not a big concern, but at the moment he is a ways from being a dependable blocker.
