The Skinny

Stoneburner might have the best hands of any TE prospect

The Analysis

Tight end is the only position a guy named Stoneburner should play. One would think it would be a physical, bruising slow style of play. This tight end prospect is nothing of the sort. He is probably the second fastest tight end (Jonathan Baldwin) in the nation and might have the best hands of any tight end. He is athletic enough to be used in the short passing game on bubble screens and tight end hitches but is big enough to be used over the middle.

Blocking is his one major area of concern. He has the frame to add 20-30 pounds and become a solid blocker along the line. He just has yet to show that ability since he is rarely used in blocking situations. He does have solid hand technique and shows the work ethic to improve in this area. His play making ability on the outside is just to dangerous not to use.
