The Analysis
Robinson is as gifted and raw as any prospect in the 2008 class. He will be recruited strictly on athletic ability and special physical tools. He has a long, lanky frame with plenty of room to get thicker and stronger. His long strides almost make him seem as if he is gliding across the field. For a player his size, he shows adequate speed both straight ahead and laterally.
The main question for Robinson: what position will he play? He is much more polished as a safety, but his upside at wide receiver is too noticeable to pass up. He already has great leaping ability and natural ball skills. He will have a lot of work to do if he ends up on the offensive side of the ball, though. The subtleties and technique of the wideout position must all be learned if he expects to play at a high level. Redshirting may be an option even though he is physically ready to play right away.
Who's Got It Right: None, he is better than everyone thinks
