Will add much needed depth along the ND defensive front

The Analysis

When this young pass rusher plays with proper pad level, he is a defensive coach’s dream. He has powerful, violent hands that coaches love to see from a defensive end. He will shoot them high and hard, generating power from his lower body. This allows him to hold the point of attack very well against bigger blockers, despite being a little undersized.

Fleming shows adequate speed and athleticism. He is not overly explosive off the ball, but his footwork and hands make up for what he lacks in speed and size. He already demonstrates a solid grasp of a variety of pass rush moves. He has a great motor and will work hard at scraping down the line in pursuit. He will need to add bulk and get a bit bigger still.
