The Skinny
Aghayere has been committed to LSU since October 2007
The Analysis
Its pronounced aggie-air-ee, but from now on will be known as ‘Big A.’ Big A has all the physical tools to be a dominant presence along the defensive line. He plays a very physical brand of football, generally dropping ball-carriers with ease and authority. He shows the ability to get solid push and really hold the edge of the line. Big A’s lateral quickness is not great but will be decent enough. He will be at his best attacking off the edge in stunts and slants.
However, all of his talents still depend on effort and determination. Rumors have swirled around Big A about his heart and dedication. He will, at times, take plays off and show a general lack of pop off the ball. It is a very difficult characteristic to quantify at such a young age, but LSU fans will know one way or the other very quickly. If he shows consistent effort he could be dominant.
Who’s Got It Right: No One
