The Skinny

This smallish prospect has only been playing football four years

The Analysis

There is one word that describes this diminutive defensive back: fast. He has great top-end speed, great short-space speed, great foot speed and great recovery speed. His man-to-man skills will only continue to get better. He is also a hard worker with a never-back-down type mentality. He will have to continue his “me against the world” attitude if he expects to compete on a high level in college football.

The major issue with Cissoko is his size. He will get pushed around by the bigger wideouts. He made a few nice plays in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl but was in large part victimized by Michael Floyd and Dan Buckner all game long. His small stature makes him vulnerable on deep vertical routes, fades and end zone high point passing games. The West went right after him, scoring touchdowns and getting penalties on the young prospect. It was not a solid showing for the corner.
