The Analysis

This corner’s strength is his man-to-man ability. He has a very smooth hip turn, normally right into the wide receiver's hip pocket. He plays better in a trail technique, relying on explosive bursts when the ball comes his way. He has the physical ability to play up on the line and jam the bigger targets.

He can be so set on turning with his mark that he takes himself out of running plays and quick passes away from him. That can be fixed by improving his zone reads and can be put in place by solid coaching. Zone reads will probably need work across the board. Any fundamental issues can be improved. His excellent raw athletic ability is not teachable. 

With his ability to come up and support the run, Aaron Hester is a great all-around corner prospect.
