Randy Johnson (Athlon Consensus #36)

The Analysis

PROS: This is a speedy, dynamic all-around athlete. Johnson is a big-play waiting to happen on offense as he uses elite level explosiveness and acceleration to turn small gains into big chunks. He has excellent vision and change of direction ability. He can start and stop whenever he pleases. Despite his smallish frame, he has proven himself against a high level of competition - even when defenses spent the entire game keying on his every move. And he led his team on a deep playoff run. He will be an excellent player on third downs and could even play some defense. His skillset is an ideal collection of talents for the cover corner position should he not land on offense.

CONS: His size is really his only negative. Can his frame withstand a high-volume workload on the next level remains to be seen. He has all the tools necessary to excel in a big-time offense but will likely have to add some bulk in order to be a third down back.
