The Analysis

PROS:This is an extremely versatile defensive back prospect who has extensive experience at nearly every position in the defensive backfield. With his size and strength, however, it is hard to see him anywhere but safety. In fact, he could easily slide down into a rover, hybrid S/LB role as well. He uses quality closing speed and physicality to make plays on the ball and deliver big hits. He has excellent range atop the defense and can fill against the run with good tackling skills as well. He is much better on the attack with the play in front of him.

CONS:He lacks the elite level quickness, hip turn and fluidity needed to play corner or man-up safety. He will have to work on his pedal, fundamentals and short space agility to maximize his cover skills.
