The Analysis

PROS: Like most great athletes in high school, Williams was used all over the field including quarterback, receiver, return specialist and at safety. He is talented enough to be a great wide receiver on the next level and his ball skills and leaping ability translate well to the safety position. He has tremendous range and length – allowing him to cover a lot of ground on the back end. He is also strong and big enough to play close to the line of scrimmage and will have no issues filling against the run. He can be a devastating hitter. He can play the high point safety position as well of the hybrid linebacker role as well.

CONS: Because he is such a good athlete, Williams may not have a clearly defined position on the next level. Also due to his raw talent, he was allowed to simply “out-athlete” opponents. His discipline, technique and fundamentals will be tested early on in college – regardless of what position he plays.

BIO: Will play in the Under Armour All-American Game. Played previously at Mosley High School in Lynn Haven, Fla.
