Dear Athlon,

This experience has been incredible. I want to thank Athlon Sports and JVC for this wonderful opportunity. It blew my mind with the amount of support I received. Not only did I have the support of my team, family, and friends but it seemed like the entire state of Kentucky was behind me.

The University of Kentucky was very supportive as to publish articles on the web page and our school paper, "The Kentucky Kernel", encouraging faculty and students to vote. I also had some outside support from the Kentucky Sports Radio and from Knoxville, TN, my hometown. I am grateful for this opportunity and it opened my eyes to the great chances people are given in life. I wish I could personally thank everyone that took the time to vote and support me and the Kentucky Dance Team. Our team is very grateful for the awards we received and they will be used by teams to come.
