The Skinny
Ended his tumultuous recruitment by heading west to USC
The Analysis
The physical attributes are certainly there for Mr. Bryant. First, he has good size for a corner. He will be able to play the body on bigger receiver, which will allow for defensive coordinators to isolate him more often. Second, he is a strong athlete. He has nice speed and agility, which also makes him a nice option in the return game.
Bryant might be an interesting player at safety as well as cornerback. He has such great ball skills that playing the high point zone safety position is a natural fit. He does a great job of patrolling deep zones. His diagnostic skills may keep him at corner, though, as he has a tendency to take incorrect steps. Whether he lands at corner or safety, Bryant will be able to play the run well; he is not afraid to fill gaps hard.
