The Skinny

Missed his entire junior season with a foot injury

The Analysis

This kid is Percy Harvin but a little taller and 30 pounds heavier. He is a versatile athlete who lined up at wide receiver and running back  in high school. He has the thickness to withstand a beating when running between the tackles. Yet, he has the speed and agility to be used on the outside as a pass catcher.

As a wide receiver he is the complete package. He has solid hands and great body control. He will make the tough catch in traffic. Shoemate will excel in every level of the passing game. He will be a big-play deep threat, an intermediate first down machine and an open-field terror in the short passing attack.

His strength is the shorter and mid-range passing game because of his ‘yards-after-catch’ ability. He is so difficult to tackle in the open field because he runs like a tailback. Shoemate will be deadly on swing passes, bubble screens, crossing routes and trick plays.
