Recruiting Class No. 1: Alabama

It's time to name the recruiting champion of 2008 and, to no one's surprise, it's Nick Saban's Alabama squad, with five AC100 members and 32 total signees, that takes the top spot.

Recruiting Class No. 2: Ohio State

We're down to the top five classes of 2008 and Ohio State, much like USC, was all about quality rather than quantity. The Buckeyes pulled in the highest number of AC100 members and have earned the No. 2 rank.

We're down to the top five classes of 2008. To try and turn around a disappointing first season at Miami, Randy Shannon pulled in Athlon's third-ranked class, including eight AC100 members.
