Well as i watched Ole Miss crumble to the Old Ball Coach last night I began to realize that USC,Ole Miss,Oklahoma,Va Tech are all possibly goin to lose at least another game before the season ends!As for Penn St,and Michigan one of these schools could run the table but highly unlikley. The only teams that I think will run the table is Alabama,Florida,Cincy, and Boise St.This is how I figure the season will turn out!!
1.Florida 12-0>SEC east champ
2.Alabama 12-0>SEC west champ
3.Penn St 11-1
4.California 11-1
5.Boise St 12-0

After the first few weeks of this season,I think that Bama is the best team in the country!Florida has some issues on offense,Texas may make it undefeated its really hard to tell with the way the big 12 is right now.Ole Miss still has a ways to go before I can be a believer they still have Alabama and LSU at home but also with Auburn lookin pretty good
they may lose 2 or 3 games before its said and done. miami has been the suprise team in the country and they might win the ACC.I feel like Alabama will meet Florida in the SEC title game and win round 2. bama will face Texas or Penn St for the national title. i cant make a prediction on that one!Roll Tide Roll!!!!

it's funny, the two teams i picked to play in the national championship lost in week 1 (oklahoma and oregon) and after seeing how alabama played against va tech, i wouldn't be surprised if they sneak up on florida and stuff them

Man I knew an upset would be in the making the first week, but Oklahoma? I think OU has alot of questions to answer. As for my Crimson Tide, they looked sloppy in the first half, made mental errors. But dominated the game with a great rushing attack and a D that was awesome!McElroy had great poise for a first start. And the O line came together in the second half.I see another great year for the Tide.Watch out Florida! Here comes the Tide...

I was checking out your picks and I see an Ole Miss team if they win the SEC like you say then they should be in the National Championship game against your Sooners or the Longhorns.Cause I do not see the SEC champion not going to the NC game! And I was off when did TCU eave CUSA?Boy I feel Retarded!!!LOL

Ole miss will beat UF in the sec tittle game, they wrecked havoc in Gainsville last year. Snead is too smart of a qb and knows where not to put the ball. Now the other team is my DAWGS, everyone needs to give them some credit, yeah we lost some big players but you cant build your team around players like: Stafford,Moreno,Allen,Byrd, and Massaquoi. now its the begining of a new era, The Joe Cox/Logan Gray era. Both are really good quartersbacks. Caleb King is probally the most underrated halfback in the nation. No one is giving him any credit. The SEC needs to remeber one thing and start planning on one thing: How to stop AJ Green. until u stop him, the bug plays are coming and wont stop. and dont let us loose Cox, Gray is our old punt returner and that kind of reminds me of a old qb by the name of DJ Shockley, with his speed. GO DOGS!!!!!

As the season get's even closer,I see a quiet Alabama team getting prepared to make another run at perfection! While I look at all the hype the Rebels are getting after their impressive end of 2008.Will the Rebel's be able to handle the expectations?Houston Nutt is no stranger to expectations. While at Arkansas he made it to the SEC title game only to lose!I think that "If" the Ole Miss players can handle the hype then I give them a chance. But don't think Florida(if they make it)will not be reminded of the loss at the swamp this past season! But I think Bama will beat the Rebel's in Oxford, and I think Bama will get a second shot at the Gators.

Look I know you are a Canes fan,but lets get real?Miami might be a really good team in a couple years, not this year!
I see Miami going 0-4 to start the season,@15.Florida St,22.Ga Tech,@8.Va Tech,2.Oklahoma,they might squeek one win in,I highly doubt that!Then you should win against Fla A&M,then @Central Fla,Clemson,@Wake Forest,Virginia,@19.N.Carolina,Duke Then @S.Florida 6-6 mabe 7-5 at best!

This season could be in the works to be one of the most interesting and contraversial years! You have some really stout teams out there(Florida,Oklahoma,Texas,Alabama,Ohio State,Ole Miss,USC,Va Tech,LSU,Georgia Tech,Georgia,Penn State,Boise State)All these teams are capable of winning a NC!

met1bama

If Alabama, and Ole Miss go say 11-1 each,Big Ten,Pac 10,And Big 12 all have teams with at least 2 losses say(Okla 10-2,Tex 10-2,Ohio St 10-2,USC 10-2,and Penn St 10-2)Florida is unbeaten,Alabama or Ole Miss gets left out of the SEC Title game But with One loss.Ole Miss beats Florida,or either way Ole Miss,or Florida would probrably play Bama for it all.Because of all the other schools having two losses would bounce Bama or Ole Miss to #2!Though it would destroy my thoughts on the 8team playoff or the 6 major bowls! But it could happen. Then the SEC would be up for it's 4th title in a row!But I seriously doubt Okla,Tex,or Ohio St is going to lose 2 games. One of these teams if not all will be unbeaten or with one loss!

6.WAC(12.Boise St)
7.MWC(21.Utah)
#24.Notre Dame, needs to be a Big 10,or Big East School!
Let all the conferences have a championship game.SEC,ACC,Big 12,and CUSA all have title games.Give the Big 10 Notre Dame,Pac 10 gets Fresno St,Hawaii. That would be good!Right?Big East stays eight teams just split them into 4 in each division, cause I do not have any idea what teams to add to the Big East,WAC could add one more, just pick up a FCS school, same for MWC,add a sub div school and have a championship game! Then you would have all conf with a championship, between 11 conf you would have 11 champs, lets say,for instant(SEC vs Big12 champs,Big 10 vs Pac 10 champs,ACC vs Big East,CUSA vs MAC,WAC vs MWC,The Sun Belt could be left out!Mabe? That would give you 6 Bowl games the power conf would have the BCS games Unless you have a couple undefeateds in the MWC,or the WAC,cause they have proven they can hang with the big dogs(Boise over Okla,Utah over Bama)or you could have a 8 team playoff!Either way it would be better than the system now!

The SEC west looks to be fair game for at least 3 teams,Alabama,LSU,and Ole Miss.I think Bama will win the west but Ole Miss is a very good team, and they scare the crap outa me.Bama has to go to Ole Miss.By the looks of the schedules for Bama, and Ole Miss. Both teams could go 11-1,LSU will likley lose 2 to 4 games, with the losses being to Florida,Ole Miss,Alabama, and possibly Georgia! But that's just my opinion! The east is all Florida, even if Tebow was to get hurt,I think Florida defense, and Offense will be as strong as last year, and they could bring a 3rd title to gainsville in 4 years, and a 4th straight for the mighty SEC!!The SEC is the "BEST" confrence by far!

boisefan_88
(June 23, 2009 - 8:28am)

I can see a few teams beating Florida
1. LSU (I mean come on every team as a down yr) No way Florida goes to LSU and defeats them by more than a touchdown
2. Arkansas Team is young with room 2 grow played florida tough last yr before Florida pulled away late
3. South Carolina the ol ball coach finally has a team capable of defeating Urban Myers
4. Ole Miss (SEC Title Game) Houston Nutt just knows how to be a torn in Urban Myers side

Let me just say Boise State is a heavy favorite to crash the BCS....
In terms of first week games its gonna be a great week
Starting off with Oregon and Boise State and ending with a tough game for LSU & CAL
(Although i feel LSU will role over Washington in the 2nd half)
