Ball State’s MiQuale Lewis has been one of the biggest surprises at the running back spot this year. The junior suffered season-ending injuries in his first two years but has remained healthy throughout 2008 and is approaching the 1,600-yard mark on the ground. Lewis has rushed for 20 touchdowns and at least one in every game but two. As with all positions in Week 15, they are thin in fantasy options. Lewis takes on a Buffalo defense giving up nearly 160 rushing yards per game and is the top option for owners looking for a running back.
Virginia Tech-Boston College should be a defensive battle and fantasy owners should lower their expectations for Darren Evans, Montel Harris and Josh Haden. Both teams are have been stingy against the run and all three backs could struggle to get 100 yards.
