Week 13 RB Rankings

It’s the final weekend for action in the Big Ten and possibly the last home game for Ohio State’s Chris Wells. Fantasy owners may remember Wells’ huge performance against Michigan last season – 222 yards and two touchdowns – and will be looking for a similar effort this week. The Wolverines rank 45th nationally against the run but fantasy owners should keep the junior in their lineup. Michigan State’s Javon Ringer and Penn State’s Evan Royster are two backs who are having a solid fantasy season and face off against each other in Happy Valley this week. Although the match-ups aren’t overwhelming in their favor, Royster and Ringer should each reach the century mark with at least a touchdown.

Injury Report –

Louisville’s Victor Anderson suffered a minor injury against Cincinnati. The freshman is expected to start against West Virginia.

Michigan’s Brandon Minor did not play against Northwestern due to a shoulder injury. Minor is expected to start against Ohio State.

Arkansas’ Michael Smith (shoulder) is expected to play against Mississippi State.

Fresno State’s Ryan Mathews (knee) is listed as doubtful for Friday’s game against San Jose State.

Memphis’ Curtis Steele (hamstring) is questionable to play against UCF.

South Florida’s Mike Ford continues to battle a hamstring injury. He is questionable to play against Connecticut and could be limited if he starts.
