The last two weeks have been tough for Missouri. Losses to Oklahoma State and Texas pushed the Tigers out of national title contention and put a dent in the Heisman campaign of quarterback Chase Daniel. Although the offense had their share of struggles in those two contests, receiver Jeremy Maclin posted back-to-back eight reception games but failed to reach the endzone. Colorado held Kansas State’s potent passing game in check last week, but look for Maclin to have a huge game this Saturday. The sophomore should be able to find the endzone, along with topping 100 receiving yards for the fourth time this season.

Minnesota’s Eric Decker has been the main recipient of quarterback Adam Weber’s passes this season. Weber underwent knee surgery before Minnesota’s victory over Illinois and should be 100 percent this Saturday. Decker has grabbed 59 of the 143 completions by Minnesota this season and with Purdue’s struggling defense ahead, plenty of fantasy points can be expected this week.

Rounding out the top five for Week 9 – Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree (1), Rice’s Jarett Dillard (2) and New Mexico State’s Chris Williams (5).

Injury Report -

Oklahoma’s Manuel Johnson has a dislocated elbow and is questionable to play against Kansas State. With Johnson unlikely to go, expect Ryan Broyles to see a few more passes in his direction.

Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree tweaked his ankle against Texas A&M but should be fine to play against Kansas.

Tennessee’s Gerald Jones has a high ankle sprain and is questionable to play against Alabama.

Bowling Green’s Freddie Barnes injured his knee against Miami, Ohio and is out three weeks. Look for Corey Partridge to play a bigger role in the Bowling Green passing attack.
