The Big 12’s conference slate kicks off in a big way this Saturday. Oklahoma-Texas, Texas Tech-Nebraska, Oklahoma State-Missouri and Colorado-Kansas are not only quality match-ups, but fantasy owners can expect to see plenty of points. Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell got the nod as the top fantasy option at his position and teammate Michael Crabtree gets the top fantasy receiver spot. The Big 12 is represented quite well among the top five, as Missouri’s Jeremy Maclin and Oklahoma State’s Dez Bryant check in as the No. 2 and No. 3 options. BYU’s Austin Collie and SMU’s Aldrick Robinson round out the top five.

Outside of the top five, there are plenty of excellent fantasy plays. USC’s Damian Williams has been the top target in the passing game and assuming quarterback Mark Sanchez can play, Williams is a solid pick to reach the endzone. Central Michigan’s Antonio Brown and Bryan Anderson should get on the right track this weekend, and Illinois’ Arrelious Benn has a great match-up against Minnesota.

Injury updates/news and notes –

East Carolina’s Jamar Bryant is suspended indefinitely from the team.

Penn State’s Jordan Norwood has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, but is expected to play against Wisconsin.

Florida’s Percy Harvin is battling an ankle injury, but is expected to play against LSU.

Tulane’s Jeremy Williams suffered a broken hand against Army and is out four to six weeks.

Central Michigan’s Bryan Anderson has a shoulder injury and his status for Saturday’s game is uncertain.
