Week 7 QB Rankings

Texas Tech’s Graham Harrell is coming off his best effort of the 2008 season, and his right arm should be ready to go for Saturday’s favorable match-up against Nebraska. Harrell and his receivers will get their shot at a Cornhusker defense that struggled to stop Missouri and ranks 97^th in the NCAA. Expect another monster outing by Harrell, but if you don’t have this senior quarterback on your roster, don’t hit the panic button. Tulsa’s David Johnson, Houston’s Case Keenum, Missouri’s Chase Daniel and Central Michigan’s Dan LeFevour are all solid picks. Overall, there appears to be 25-30 solid quarterback plays this week and there are plenty of sleeper picks to consider.

One quarterback to watch on Saturday is Florida’s Tim Tebow. The junior quarterback is ranked 35^th this week, but has a tough match-up against LSU. Tebow could have a solid outing, but we think he’s a risky play against a solid defense. Indiana’s Kellen Lewis has been rather pedestrian in the fantasy world over the last three weeks and Iowa’s tough defense is not a great match-up. Keep Lewis on your bench this weekend.

Injury notes to monitor –

USC’s Mark Sanchez (knee) listed as day-to-day.

West Virginia’s Pat White did not suffer a concussion against Rutgers and is expected to play against Syracuse.

Arizona State’s Rudy Carpenter (ankle) is questionable to play against USC.

San Diego State’s Ryan Lindley (shoulder) is doubtful to play against Air Force. Drew Westling will replace him if he is unable to go.

TCU’s Andy Dalton (knee) is questionable to play against Colorado State.
