Week 6 Fantasy RB Rankings

With five weeks in the books, things are starting to settle in college fantasy lineups. We are seeing less surprise performances, which is to be expected with a few more games to judge players upon. Topping our fantasy running back rankings is Southern Mississippi’s Damion Fletcher. Fletcher is facing a UTEP defense ranked 75th in the NCAA against the run. Rounding out the top five is Boise State’s Ian Johnson, BYU’s Havey Unga, Ball State’s MiQuale Lewis and New Mexico’s Rodney Ferguson. Ferguson was off to a solid start in last week’s victory over New Mexico State. However, the senior suffered a bruised shoulder and was limited in the second half. Ferguson is not expected to miss any snaps in Saturday’s game against Wyoming.

Expect the usual suspects to have solid weeks – Oklahoma’s DeMarco Murray, Michigan State’s Javon Ringer and Ohio State’s Chris Wells. However, Pitt’s LeSean McCoy, Wisconsin’s P.J. Hill and the Oregon duo of Jeremiah Johnson and LeGarrette Blount have difficult match-ups in Week 6.

Week 6 has a few match-ups earlier in the week, so be sure to set your lineup in time.

A few injury notes –

Cal’s Jahvid Best won’t play against Arizona State due to a dislocated elbow.

Kent State’s Eugene Jarvis is questionable with a high ankle sprain.

Florida’s Emmanuel Moody is questionable with a high ankle sprain.

Toledo’s DaJuane Collins is questionable with an ankle injury.
