Week 5 Fantasy DEF/K Rankings

LSU is coming off a huge road victory over Auburn and the Tigers get the nod as our top fantasy defense for week five. The Tigers will be taking on a Mississippi State team that has scored nine points in their last two games and have struggled to get anything going offensively. Expect Les Miles’ defense to have a strong showing on Saturday. Just behind LSU is Boston College and South Florida. The Bulls take on a tough NC State team, but catch a break with Wolfpack starting quarterback Russell Wilson out for Saturday’s game.

Further down the list, Texas A&M and Rutgers are prime waiver wire candidates, especially with excellent non-conference match-ups. Week 5 is also a pretty deep week for defenses, so if you are shorthanded in this department, there should be plenty of options on the waiver wire.
