Week 4 QB Rankings

Texas Tech’s Graham Harrell should be in for a big performance on Saturday. The Red Raiders take on FCS foe Massachusetts and Harrell should be throwing passes early and often. Despite winning against SMU, Texas Tech coach Mike Leach was a little unhappy with his offense – even though they scored 43 points against the Mustangs. Rounding out the top five is Missouri’s Chase Daniel, Houston’s Case Keenum, Purdue’s Curtis Painter and BYU’s Max Hall.

Week four has plenty of options in the top 25, as evidenced by Florida’s Tim Tebow at 21 and West Virginia’s Pat White at No. 15. Both quarterbacks should have solid games, but with several non-conference match-ups still on the table, both take a slight dip in the rankings this week.

Rice’s Chase Clement is one of the top fantasy quarterbacks this season, but due to a tough match-up against Vanderbilt, we ranked him in the 30th spot for week three. After Saturday’s games were finished, Clement stacked up at 27th among quarterbacks. This week, we recommend avoiding the Owl starter once again. The Texas defense is much-improved under coordinator Will Muschamp and should cause this offense plenty of headaches. Also, SMU’s Bo Levi Mitchell had a sluggish performance against Texas Tech and the tough defense of TCU won’t provide any breaks.

A couple of names to watch this week – UL Lafayette’s Michael Desormeaux, TCU’s Andy Dalton and San Jose State’s Kyle Reed.

Check back later this week for our college fantasy redzone podcast, with all of the latest news and notes, sleeper picks and weekly discussion on the best fantasy plays for week four.

All of our college fantasy content is at - http://www.athlonsports.com/college-fantasy-football/

And our college football section is - http://www.athlonsports.com/college-football/

Right now, we don't have any week-to-week non-fantasy rankings of quarterbacks.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the clarification and our apologies for the confusion...I was unaware of this college page containing fantasy related content. Are there similar non-fantasy rankings/college content for this section? I am a new visitor to this site.

These are fantasy rankings for week 4 - Oklahoma does not play, otherwise he would be in this list. They are not a ranking of the best quarterbacks in the NCAA.

Um...so, have you heard about a little QB at Oklahoma that goes by the name Sam Bradford?...I don't mean to be rude, but this website just lost alot of credibility for me. Please edit your stories before publishing. Thank you.
