Man they are making a mistake starting chris todd over Burns. Burns had a better game all the way around. sure todd had more passing yards but not if the two deep balls that burns threw would have been caught and if a pinky toe was a centimeter smaller.

I dont know why everyone thinks that auburn will be down this year. Everyone thinks that auburn is losing a lot of players, which is not true. Look think about it! they have all their running backs, receivers, main offensive line, and most of the defense coming back. A lot of people dont realize how young auburns football team was last year. we had one of the youngest offensive line, starting 3 freshman and also one of the youngest defensive teams too. With this new spread offense i think auburn with the talent they have can do some great things this upcoming season and I expect auburn to SHOCK a lot of viewers and people this season. And one of the best things of this coming up season is that we finally have a new QB, thank god, which i know some of the auburn fans can relate to that

Tennessee will not be handing us a loss at home this year. Simply because they are going to have a tough season this year. The only loss we might see will come from the hands of Georgia and that is if we beat are selfs.

if auburn can get past LSU on the 20th (and i think they can) they should have a good chance at finishing out with only one loss. which will happen the following week when tennessee come down and blows yall out at home. haha

First off nobody produces better running backs for college football than auburn does. And to secthetruth it sounds like you dont know anything about auburn football cause the games we lost last year was not cause of defense it was cause of a quarterback who got shaken up and couldnt gather his composer back. The LSU game was a great pass at the end I dont care if 5 people were covering that reciever nobody would have stopped that pass. The mississippi state game was all lost cause of Brandon Cox. Trust me I was there it was my first game to watch at auburn and he ruined it for me. After the game I met him and told him it was my first visit and he said he was sorry for his performance and he hoped that i still had a good trip. The only team's Auburn has that matches up to them is Georgia and Florida that is it. So when Auburn is the sec west champions and the sec champions all ican say is told ya so. So the truth you need to do a lil more studing before you get on here and it was 2004 we went undefeated just to let you know.

I`m a really big Auburn fan.In the past few years they`ve really been an excellent team, even though the offense was shaky at best-they still usually won.In 2004,they deserved to play for the National Championship.Ironically, they may have gained more fame and respect by not plying for it.Next year,I think Auburn will be great.A lot of other teams will also-like Oklahoma and Ohio State. But I really feel this next AU squad has a shot.Best,John

First of all no one knows who will win or play for the BCS Title ever.I remember everyone talking about how good S.C. was a year ago at the end they were an after thought. What I can use is facts and they are against the Top Ten Coach Tuberville is as good as anyone in the country. All be it we may have lost to some Teams we should have beaten, but who doesn't.I will always believe that the Auburn Tigers are the best team in the country,I'm realistic but if you don't believe your team is the Best Program in the nation year in year out you have issues within.I have a life and I don't Live or Die on what some eighteen year olds are doing.Yes I will say it today and will say it in January The Auburn Tigers are number one(1)....YA....DIGG!!!If not Auburn then who and why?

First off let me refresh your memory of last years chick fil a bowl where an AUBURN Team took this new offense for a week and made it there own and beat a good CLEMSON TEAM. Your second disturbing fact was to say that AU cant win the close game, again I refer you to the CHICK FIL A BOWL. And on your LSU game comment you said it best, when you said the reciever was blanketed by coverage. Your exactly right. What else was that corner supposed to do. I answer nothing, it was the perfect pass at the perfect time. Again I say that it was a lucky play that cost AU a chance at the NC game. As for Lester not being able to do all the work himself your right thats why we now have a very moble QB and several great rushers that will produce this year. I refer you to Mario Fanin, Ben Tate, for examples. Bottom line mark my words AU will take the WEST and be in the hunt at the end of the year for the NC.

AUBURN WANT BE PLAYING FOR THE NAT. CHAMP. OR THE SEC CHAMP. IT WILL TAKE A YEAR OR TWO TO INSTALL THEIR NEW OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE SCHEMES, AND ONLY BEING SECONDS AWAY FROM WINNING ALL THOSE GAMES JUST PROVES THAT AUBURN CANT WIN CLOSE GAMES, THE LSU GAME LAST YEAR WAS LOST BECAUSE OF A WEAK SECONDARY, I MEAN THE RECIEVER WAS BLANKETED BY COVERAGE, (I KNOW IT WAS ONE MAN BUT YOU HAVE TO ADMIT HE WAS COVERED PRETTY WELL) AND ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS TURN AROUND AND THE GAME WAS OVER, AUBURN WINS. AUBURN LOST ALOT OF PEOPLE, ALTHOUGH THEY ALWAYS KEEP A DEFENSE, YOU HAVE TO PUT POINTS ON THE BOARD TO WIN, AND LESTER CANT DO THAT BY HIMSELF, IM NOT DOWNING AUBURN, IM JUST LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD, IM A FAN OF THE SEC, BUT AUBURN WAS SCREWED OUT OF THEIR CHANCE FOR A NAT. CHAMP. I THINK IT WAS 2003 (MAYBE WRONG) BUT IF A TEAM GOES UNDEFEATED IN THE SEC THEY DESERVE A SPOT IN THE NAT CHAMP GAME

Carruthers,

Who do you think can possibly win the West, LSU?? Auburn only really got beat once last year and that was by GA.. The heroics of USF, MSU, and hell even LSU were nothing but flukes that won a game for them. We were seconds away from winning all those games. With this explosive new offense, a quarterback that can scramble, a returning treo of top rated rushers, and a solid offense line we should and most propably will be in the running for the National Championship Chase. I see one possible loss coming at the hands of maybe GA again this year, and thats an iffy due to the early season hype. I have AU playing FL in the SEC Championship game and moving onto the BCS Championship game!!! Finally a chance to prove whats going on in the plains is for real!! War EAGLE
