Top 100 Fantasy WRs

In the updated fantasy wide receiver rankings, Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree continues to hold onto the top spot. Behind Crabtree is plenty of depth, which should ease the loss for owners not able to take the talented sophomore.

As we continue our 2008 preseason college fantasy preview, up next is the wide receivers. Missouri's Jeremy Maclin is No. 3 in the nation and No. 2 in his conference.

Mid-Major Fantasy WR Ranks

New Mexico State's Chris Williams should be catching plenty of passes from quarterback Chase Holbrook in 2008. Williams missed part of last year with a collarbone injury and a healthy 2008 projection puts him at the top of the mid-major fantasy receiver rankings.

Pac-10 Fantasy WR Ranks

The Pac-10 is known for its offense and 2008 is no exception. With big-time quarterback talent at nearly every school, receivers from up and down the west coast should be producing big-time fantasy numbers.

Big 12 Fantasy WR Ranks

In a year where gunslinger quarterbacks reign supreme, the Big 12 has no shortage of fantasy receiver options either. Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree is the top fantasy receiver in the nation. In fact last season, Crabby had arguably the top fantasy season by a college receiver ever.

SEC Fantasy WR Ranks

Florida is stockpiling weapons for a run at the national title and Percy Harvin is expected to be a huge factor for this team. Not only is Harvin one of the best receivers in the NCAA, he's also the top fantasy receiver in the SEC.

Big Ten Fantasy WR Ranks

Although Minnesota finished at 1-11 and had the worst defense in the nation last season, fantasy players should find plenty of value in the Gophers in '08. In fact, there is no better fantasy wide receiver in the Big Ten than Minny's Eric Decker.

Big East Fantasy WR Ranks

Cincinnati's Marcus Barnett set a school record with 13 touchdown receptions last season, and this sophomore receiver begins 2008 atop the fantasy receiving options in the Big East.

ACC Fantasy WR Ranks

The ACC isn't a deep conference for fantasy options, but Clemson owns four solid options - including receiver Aaron Kelly. Kelly had a solid 2007 season, and the return of Cullen Harper at quarterback should give him a chance to post career-best numbers.
