Super Bowl XLVII was one for the ages as the Baltimore Ravens topped the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 at the Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 3, 2013. The game featured a record-setting kickoff return, a 34-minute power outage, a near comeback win, an epic halftime show by Beyonce, and an MVP performance by Baltimore QB Joe Flacco. Baltimore kick returner Jacoby Jones set a new NFL postseason record when he returned the opening second-half kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown. The score gave the Ravens' their biggest lead of the game at 28-6.

Baltimore wide receiver Jacoby Jones falls down to haul in a deep throw from Joe Flacco late in the second quarter. Jones was able to get up before he was touched by any San Francisco defender, completing the 56-yard touchdown play.

Beyonce gave the Mercedes-Benz Superdome audience and millions of watching an electric, high-energy and entertaining halftime show, complete with a reunion of her former group, Destiny's Child.

San Francisco running back Frank Gore and quarterback Colin Kaepernick celebrate Gore's touchdown in the third quarter. Gore's six-yard run cut Baltimore's lead to just eight points with less than five minutes to go in the third quarter.

With a 108-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 56-yard touchdown catch, Baltimore's Jacoby Jones became just the second player in Super Bowl history with two scores of 50 or more yards. Washington's Ricky Sanders in Super Bowl XXII versus Denver on Jan. 31, 1988 is the other.

Joe Flacco threw three first-half touchdown passes to propel Baltimore to a 21-6 halftime lead in Super Bowl XLVII over San Francisco. The Ravens withstood a spirited comeback by the 49ers in the second half to win 34-31, as Flacco took home MVP honors after completing 22-of-33 passes for 287 yards, those three scores and no turnovers.

Baltimore's Joe Flacco and Jacoby Jones connected on a big 56-yard touchdown pass with less than two minutes left in the second quarter. The scoring play helped the Ravens take a 21-6 lead on the 49ers into halftime.

San Francisco head coach expresses his displeasure that no holding was called on the 49ers' final play of the game. Harbaugh believed that wide receiver Michael Crabtree was held in the end zone as Colin Kaepernick tried to throw him the ball on fourth-and-goal from the Ravens' five-yard line with the 49ers trailing 34-29 with less than two minutes left. No penalty was called, allowing the Ravens to take over on downs and seal their victory in Super Bowl XLVII.

San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis was a key weapon for the 49ers' offense against Baltimore, catching six passes for 104 yards.

Baltimore wide receiver Anquan Boldin battles San Francisco cornerback Carlos Rogers on a key third-down play in the fourth quarter. Boldin led the Ravens with six catches for 104 yards and a touchdown, but none bigger than this 15-yarder on third-and-1 from the Ravens' 45-yard line. The play allowed the Ravens to keep a drive going as they protected a five-point lead.
