Texans looking for first-ever divisional playoff win in rematch with Patriots
The Houston Texans make their second trip to Foxboro, Mass., in a little more than a month to face the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Playoffs Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Coming off of their Wild Card win over Cincinnati, Houston is hoping things go much better at Gillette Stadium this time than they did back on Dec. 10 when New England thoroughly dominated the Texans 42-14 on “Monday Night Football” to close out Week 14.
Road-tested Seahawks looking to add to Falcons’ recent playoff woes
The Seattle Seahawks bring their road show to the Georgia Dome to take on the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC Divisional Playoff showdown that kicks off Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. In beating Washington 24-14 in last Sunday’s Wild Card matchup, the Seahawks have already accomplished something the Falcons haven’t since 2004 – win a postseason game. The Falcons, champions of the NFC South and who tied the Broncos with 13 wins in the regular season are no stranger to having success in the months of September through December.
The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers will get together for the second time this season when Saturday’s NFC Divisional playoff game kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. The champions of the NFC North and West divisions opened the season against each other, but the stakes aren’t the only things that have changed for this matchup.
Top-seeded Broncos looking for second win in less than a month over Ravens
Arguably the NFL’s best offensive and defensive players of the past decade will go head-to-head one last time when the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos meet in Saturday’s AFC Divisional playoff game at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The Ravens defeated Indianapolis 24-9 in last Sunday’s Wild Card game, allowing linebacker Ray Lewis the chance to celebrate a win in his final home game. All that stands between Lewis and extending his Hall of Fame career by at least one more game are the top-seeded Broncos, who are led by quarterback Peyton Manning.
What sports treasures are for sale via the nation's biggest virtual flea market? Here's some of the weirdest.
Bobby Jones' Ghost in a Jar
We noticed an unusual item on eBay last year: the ghost of golf legend Bobby Jones, captured in a jar. Sadly, the item is no longer available, meaning that someone bought it (a frightening thought); the owner realized it was just too valuable and took it down (equally frightening); or the ghost escaped from the jar (most terrifying of all).
Here's the explanation from the lucky owner:
Earlier this year, I began to hear strange voices come from my garage and specifically my golf clubs. The voice would repeat “Syringomyelia, Syringomyelia.” At first I had no idea what the ghost was saying, so I googled the word. Syringomyelia is the disease that paralyzed killed hall of fame golfer Bobby Jones. I asked the apparition are you Bobby Jones? The ghost then became visible dressed in 1950’s golfing gear. The ghost said yes I am Bobby Jones. I didn’t know what to do, so in panic I took the jar next to me and forced the ghost of Bobby Jones into the container. Thankfully this ghostly version of Bobby Jones was the paralyzed version of him and not the pristine athlete from the 1920’s.
As much as I like having Mr.Jones in my house, my wife is petrified of ghosts and is now forcing me to sell him. I have decided to sell Mr. Jones on ebay and donate half of the proceeds to the cure Syringomyelia fund.
Unfortunately Mr. Jones ghost can only be seen by true believers. If you are not a true believer bid with caution, for you may be unable to see him. I will not be giving refunds, so bid with caution as this is something impossible to authenticate and verify.

Extremely Rare McJordan Barbeque Sauce from McDonald's
Extremely rare? I don't care if it's made of plutonium and contains clone-able DNA from Michael Jordan himself: I'm not dropping 10 grand on some rancid barbecue sauce.

Terry Bradshaw Peanut Butter Jar

TERRY BRADSHAW PITTSBURGH STEELERS TERRY'S PEANUT BUTTER GLASS JAR 1970'S
Apparently, back in the 1970s, Bradshaw's grinning mug could move product. The only downside here is that the 36-year-old peanut butter isn't included.
Terry Bradshaw Hair Restoration Poster

1970s Terry Bradshaw (Pittsburgh Steelers) large advertising postcard for Qaylar
Before Terry Bradshaw was a bumbling, chuckling pregame analyst for CBS, he was a star quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers who was also battling premature hair loss while winning four Super Bowls and wearing obscenely short shorts. The solution? A product called Qaylar, for which he shot this priceless promotional poster. Qaylar gave him temporarily lustrous locks, but apparently they didn't take; the dude's a cueball up top these days.

Tyson's Insanity on Canvas

Mike Tyson/Evander Holyfield "artwork"
Serious nightmare fuel right here: A crazed Mike Tyson juxtaposed with Evander Holyfield's mangled ear, and a trickle of blood down Holyfield's cheek for effect. I'd be surprised if Tyson himself didn't have this on the wall of his man-cave.
Andrew Luck Sketch

Andrew Luck Sketch of Lucas Oil Stadium
Peyton Manning's heir in Indy also has a degree in architectural design from Stanford, although he didn't exactly have to pull out the t-square to scribble out this likeness of his home stadium. Before you scoff at such a ludicrous asking price for a doodle, you should know that this item sold for that price.

Slightly used? By whom? If it's Tiger, I don't think I want it; no telling what's on it.
Derek Jeter Autographed Baseball

DEREK JETER AUTOGRAPHED SIGNED MLB BASEBALL
Rumor has it that Jeter supplies his one-night stands with autographed baseballs. Sort of makes you wonder what this particular eBay user went through to earn this $299. Also makes you think twice before bidding.
BONUS ITEM: Cowboys Super Bowl Ring

Cowboys Super Bowl Ring
Okay, what down-on-his-luck former Cowboy sold his Super Bowl ring on eBay? I think we can rule out Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman, but from there, all bets are off. The real question is: Did Tony Romo bid on it? It's the closest he'll ever get to one. (Boom!)
Minnesota's Adrian Peterson bounced back from a torn ACL and MCL to rush for 2,000 yards.
None other than the great Dr. James Andrews has decided that Robert Griffin III will require total reconstructive surgery to repair the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and LCL (lateral collateral ligament) in his right knee. The roughly two-hour surgery took place on Wednesday, Jan. 9, and rehab for the Washington Redskins quarterback is expected to take anywhere between six-to-eight months.
The news out of Washington was devastating this week, even without all the Beltway drama of what did Dr. James Andrews tell Mike Shanahan about Robert Griffin III’s knee injury and when did he know it? They’re still working on the full extent of the injuries to RGIII’s knee.
But just the hint of possible injuries to his ACL and LCL and the idea that he might need a reconstruction that would force him to miss much, if not all, of the 2014 season, was frightening enough. It’s not only a blow to the future of the Redskins, but it cast a shadow over RGIII’s future.
