Panthers rookie Cam Newton held the NFL record for passing yards in Weeks 1 and 2 for about three hours, before Patriots three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady raised the bar even higher later in the afternoon.
Charles Woodson schooled Cam Newton, while Tom Brady continued his record pace in Week 2.

With all eyes on quarterbacks Michael Vick and Matt Ryan, it was the 35-year-old future Hall of Fame tight end Gonzalez who stole the show in Atlanta on Sunday night.
