Clemson versus South Carolina is one of the more underrated and hate-filled rivalries in college football. The Gamecocks and Tigers have been playing since 1896, and Clemson the all-time series 65-39-4.

There have been several surprise teams through five weeks of the college football season, and three at the top of the list would be unbeaten Clemson, Georgia Tech and Illinois.

Clemson has not won an ACC title since 1991, when Ken Hatfield’s Tigers won the conference the season before Florida State started in league play. Could that change this year?
