Florida's SEC Title Hopes Take a Hit With John Brantley's Injury

The Gators will be without quarterback John Brantley indefinitely.

Not only did Florida’s SEC East title hopes take a hit with the loss to Alabama, but the Gators also suffered a blow on offense with the injury to quarterback John Brantley. The senior suffered a leg injury at the end of the first half and is out indefinitely. Brantley will not play in this Saturday’s matchup against LSU.

Florida Looks to Upset Alabama at the Swamp

The Gators and Tide are both 4-0 entering Saturday night's SEC contest.

Florida has been very difficult to beat at the Swamp over the last 20 years. However, the Gators lost three home games last season on their way to an 8-5 record. Urban Meyer quit after the tumultuous season, and now Gainesville native Will Muschamp has UF sitting at 4-0 with Alabama rolling into town.
