John Wall vs. Blake Griffin
Who is the favorite for Rookie of the Year in the NBA?

As I sat on the clock for my 4th round pick in the Athlon Sports NBA Fantasy Keeper draft — I have the 13th pick in the 14-team league — I had a big decision to make: Blake Griffin or John Wall.
To me, these are the top two options for Rookie of the Year, but I had to make my call based on fantasy stats. Griffin will be playing on what should be a better team with plenty of options around him — Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, etc — and should have a bigger impact on the playoff picture. So if I had to pick one for ROY, I would probably go with Griffin.
But for fantasy purposes, I went with Wall. He will not be asked to shot from long range so his FG% shouldn't hurt your team too much. He will be a plus player (at his position) for rebounds and maybe even block shots. Feeding the ball to Arenas and Blachte all night should help his assist totals be more than adequate and you know he will get his fair share of steals.
I went with the stat stuffer in my fantasy league, but would vote for the double-double machine in preseason ROY voting — if there is such a thing.
