AC100 RB Makes His Choice

Dee Hart pulled a minor upset when he picked Michigan over Bama.

Following consecutive official visits to Auburn, Alabama and Arkansas, the nation's No. 66 rated player in the Athlon Consensus 100, running back Demetrius "Dee" Hart, pulled off a bit of an upset when he announced on Friday night that he would be headed to the University of Michigan.

The Wolverines had always been a favorite of the Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips running back but rumors had swirled last week that Alabama had inched into the lead. But after rushing 145 yards on 18 carries — and catching 6 passes for 122 more yards — and scoring 4 TDs against Boone High School last Friday night, Hart announced he was heading to Ann Arbor to play his college football. The 267 total yards performance pushed Hart over the 5,000 total yards mark for his career at Dr. Phillips.

Hart is rated as the No. 11 running back prospect in the nation and will fit perfectly into the RichRod zone read scheme on offense.
